December Wrap Up

Just a few last things to remember about a wonderful December!
Regan got to be the Star Student of the week in her 1st grade classroom.  I got to come and share a favorite story, "Llama, Llama, Holiday Drama."

Regan and I also got to go to a special Christmas play with her girl scout troop.  Such a treat to be alone together!
Cole had a Christmas preschool program.  Because it was so early in the morning, all of the kids got to come along.  He was so cute singing all the songs!

A wonderfully kind friend invited us over to make real gingerbread houses!  She made each of the kids their own house pieces which was a huge undertaking! They had so much fun.

Ashton had a holiday orchestra concert...it was excellent...she had several solo parts and did such a great job.  Very proud of her!

Basketball, basketball and more basketball...some indoor soccer too!
(Hard to get good pictures...they move soooo fast!)
We had a Christmas program at church and the girls performed (singing and violin).
Each year, Grandpa Kirk and Grandma Patsy prepare a special Christmas "kit" for each of the families.  The kit contains several gifts and a special Christmas message.  The families who live in Utah gather together for a special Christmas party...those of us who are away still receive the same kit in the mail and so we are still able to participate.  It is one of my favorite parts of the season...this years theme was "All is calm; All is bright."

It was a busy, joyous and wonderful month!!!
