Happy Easter!

Regan was really into posing, even putting her hands behind her head!
Jordan, sweet and photogenic.
Ashton, getting older, and sporting a nice tatoo on her arm!
After church in front of our beautiful little building- love how Ashton is holding Regan's head!
Ignore the obnoxious blue and orange pacifier that seems to be in so many pictures.

I hope everyone had a great Easter! Here are some pictures of the Snarr girls. I know, I know, I have a thing for putting them in matching dresses. Thankfully, Grandma Cindy indulges me and always gets them the cutest Easter outfits. Thanks, Grandma! There will come a day when the girls will no longer allow this matching thing, but for now it is so much fun! The top picture is one of my favorites I've ever taken of the girls. I like how Regan is poking out between her two big sisters who are the center of her world. I also like how Jordan has her arm around Ashton, her best chum.

Soccer...in March!

If you know Regan, you know that she always has to be holding someone's hand.

Gotta love Texas weather! Ashton had her first soccer game on Saturday, and the weather was perfect. Those who know Ashton well, know that traditionally soccer hasn't been her thing, but she begged to try it "just one more season!" It turns out Texarkana soccer works for her because they play 3 on 3 (so everyone gets a chance!) and they have an all girl league (much less intimidating). So she actually did great and had lots of fun. Love the outfit and socks...perfect for their team name of "Rainbow Sparklers". Dad really wants Ashton to score a goal this season- he started off bribing her with candy and has now moved on to a Barbie doll. I have no doubt that with the new bribe in place, she will score!

Jordan's Easter Party

With her best buddy Jaron

Regan and Hayden get in on the fun

Since this week is spring break, Jordan had her preschool Easter party last week. They really go all out for the holidays! Of course, since it was an Easter party, Jordan had to get all dolled up in her Easter outfit (last year's). They had a fun Easter egg hunt and lunch afterwards. Then the Easter bunny made a surprise appearance. Jordan looks disgusted in the picture with the bunny because she said, "I knew it was Miss Leah dressed up." I mean, you can see the woman through the mask, but when I asked Jordan how she knew, she said, "Um, she was wearing those same shoes." Okay. Anyway, Regan did not like the Easter bunny and was screaming and shaking until it left the room. All in all, a fun day at preschool...and a really cute milk jug bunny basket.

People in my life...

My sister Katy is married to an absolutely awesome guy, Nick. From the very first time I met Nick, we have always had a special bond. Well, after I met Nick's parents, I started to understand how he became such a great person. His parents, Mike and Elaine, are just the best people you will ever meet. A few days ago, we recieved an Easter package from them, and it was so thoughtful. The girls loved the toys and candy (they wear the bunny ears everywhere!), and it was just fun to know that someone cared! Even though we have always lived far away, Mike and Elaine have always made an extra effort to see us when we are in town and to keep in touch across the miles. They are very special people in my life, and I love them very much! (I don't have a picture of Mike and Elaine...that's a must for this summer!)

Snow Surprise!

On Friday morning, we woke up to quite a surprise...snow, in Texas!!! I never thought I would see that. The girls were soooooo excited! They couldn't wait to get out and play in it- even though there were just a few inches. Jordan, Regan and I went out and built a snowman and played together. Jordan had a great time. As you can see from the pictures, Regan was less than enthusiastic about it. She just didn't get what was neat about the cold, wet stuff. Poor Ashton had to endure being shut in school all day and as soon as she got off the bus, she was ready to play. By then the snow was almost melted, but we went out and got every last second of enjoyment out of it that we could. The girls are hoping that our next move will be to a place that gets snow! (Keep in mind that we really don't own a lot of snow gear, so we really had to piece things together to come up with outfits!)

A Big Accomplishment!

My youngest sister, Katy, just finished her Masters Degree at the end of February...and I am so proud of her! She has worked so hard and done so well. To me, this is a huge accomplishment and something to really be proud of. Way to go girl! We love you.

Trying to get back on top of things...

I'm kind of glad February is over...it's been a challenging month. I was sick for over half of it, and I am so ready to feel better and move on! I don't deal well with not having energy. I haven't been good about updating my blog, and I feel like I've been in a rut! Anyway, I finally am feeling better. On Saturday, I had to go to the dr. yet again because now I have a sinus infection. We have this joke in our family that when anyone goes to the dr., we always say, "Didya get a shot in the butt?" Well, Tod and the girls were hysterical when I came home on Saturday because I actually did! (A mega dose of steriods!) Good thing they thought it was funny. All I can say is no wonder babies cry when they get shots!

In other news, we are waiting to find out where we will be assigned next year for Tod's job. This decision brings lots of nervousness and excitement. It is definitely on my mind. We'll probably find out at the beginning of April.

I'm not sure how I feel about posting this picture- weird to put up a picture of yourself, but I love this new dress from Down East...and it's been a long time since I had something new to wear to church! So, think what you want...but I am moving full speed ahead into March and not looking back!

Regan's 10th Birthday!
