Gotta love Texas weather! Ashton had her first soccer game on Saturday, and the weather was perfect. Those who know Ashton well, know that traditionally soccer hasn't been her thing, but she begged to try it "just one more season!" It turns out Texarkana soccer works for her because they play 3 on 3 (so everyone gets a chance!) and they have an all girl league (much less intimidating). So she actually did great and had lots of fun. Love the outfit and socks...perfect for their team name of "Rainbow Sparklers". Dad really wants Ashton to score a goal this season- he started off bribing her with candy and has now moved on to a Barbie doll. I have no doubt that with the new bribe in place, she will score!

So fun!! You were so smart to teach your kids about sports early. I remember you telling me that Tod wanted you to spend time playing catch and things like that with Ashton everyday!! I should have done the same thing because my kids are sports challenged, at least when it comes to knowing what is what. Enjoy the weather. Utah is getting there...
